Readers of the Gaff Rig Page have provided some links, and I've added my own.  Most of the links are for companies that come recommended by the readers of the Gaff Rig Page; if not, we indicate where the link is from.  If you have a source for information, traditional rigging supplies, etc., send me an email with the link (and why they should be included!) to GaffRig@messing-about.com.

Wooden Blocks, Mast Hoops and other traditional rigging supplies
Pert Lowell Co., in Newbury MA sells some that look pretty nice ... saw them at the Wooden Boat Show in Mystic CT a couple of years ago.  I don't have a web site for them, but their number is (978) 462-7409.  They also advertise in the back of Wooden Boat Magazine.

I also saw some very nice things at Wood & Water's booth.   They are located in Wickford, RI, and use both black and yellow locust for the blocks.  Very nice looking stuff.  Their phone number is (401) 294-2600.  And, there's also New England Traditional Boat in Maine but I haven't seen their stuff in person.  Their phone number is 207-244-0003, so I can't vouch for them.  They also advertise in the back of Wooden Boat Magazine.

For small boats, Sailrite sells mast hoops in 4" and 5" diameter.

Moray MacPhail, from the UK, emailed me and invited us to take a look at his company's site.  About the same time, Gaff Rig Page reader Jim Manning also emailed me about the site.  I pass it along here without a personal recommendation, as I have never ordered from them.  They do ship internationally, and in 2000 shipped 86 different orders to the States.  The site is certainly "eye candy" for those of us who love traditional rigging!  Classic Marine UK - A New Way to Look at Old Fittings.

Woodenboat.org is now supplying English Braids wonderful Buff Polyester line in cut-to-order lengths in their Chandlery.  This is a great re-creation of the three strand rope that used to be made from hemp.  Now, all you can usually find is nylon (too stretchy) or polypropelyne (the cheap stuff that floats.)  I first saw Buff Polyester at the Mystic Seaport, and I have a small sample here I play with occasionally.  Now that woodenboat.org will sell it in less-than-spool length, it might be time to "update" my little sailboat with some more classic looking line!
