Hi everyone!

I too have a terminal case of whatever it is that has infected this board. #Newbie

I was on the BYYB forum and saw info about an up-coming Weekender regatta.  I cannot ask questions (as yet) on that board, and was wondering since there seems to be so much crossover here, if anyone had any details.

Mostly I was wondering if I could get an e-vite.  I am determinded to build one in the very near future and would like to get a solid look at a 3-D version.  And watch how they handle.

Don't try to talk me out of it...I am young and strong and itchin to brawl Laughing and besides I'm a girl, so it is OK that I like all that "gingerbread".  And I feel like if I do not get back out on the water soon I will lose my mind.  Ok oK it's gone already, totaly besides the point

Anyone have any info?

I would say that you should fit right in.   Laughing

If you are in the Lake Mead area, you might well contact some of the people on the BYYB forum directly.   They have the makings of a Socialized Fleet of sorts going for them.   You might want to contact some of the people listed under their Southwest Fleet group.

They try to get together now and then to sail together.

There are a number of Weekenders in the Southwestern US but they are few and far between.  KInda like suitable water to get out and sail upon. Rolling Eyes

Bill Olney, Adla Earl, Brit Howell,  Derik Anderson or Barnacle Jim  I think they all have e-mail links thru the BYYB.

Where are you located?  If you are in the PUget Sound area vistiing I could direct you to a whole bunch in this area.

Southeast events are open to anyone who wants to come.  If you are in the southeast area just show up and Kieth, Scott, Bud and the gang will insure you have a good time.  As soon as you regester for the BYYB board you should be able to post.  Welcome to the maddness...

about 4 1/2 hours out of Lake Mead.  But I think it would be worth my while to make the drive and see them (a bunch of them) all up close and personal like.  Get a feel for the lines and see how neat they sail, and how similar or not they are to the little sunfish I am familiar with, a bit of compare & contrast. Thanks so much for responding.  I just reread my post.. Embarassed seems a bit rowdy just coming out of the gate...
