There is nothing -- absolute NOTHING -- half so much worth doing
as simply messing-about in boats.

I was telling kydocfrog about a planned trip members of the victoria 18 board are planning for right after christmas . to sail a flotilla from key west to the dry tortugas ( stopping at marquesas key) on the way there and back and spending new years day touring fort jefferson . it's all on the victoria 18 forum on delphi if anyone wants to read along. not all the boats going will be vics either. I know many of you own other boats and may be interested in this trip. always the best to all. barnacle bill

I've been to Fort Jefferson twice and would love to go back and spend a week exploring. The Tortugas are awesome. Have a safe and fun trip! Watch the weather...

I went back in 91 . on a larger boat. enjoyed it . this will be different. yes i am a little apprehensive going in the vic but there will be a couple of larger boats and more vics along too. yes,  the weather will be of prime importance. I suppose if it is too rough we will sail the keys and do the restaurant tourist thing too. always the best. b bill

Thanks for the info- I have a friend in Miss who has a Vic 18, so I gave him the link to this thread.

You type in the url that you want to show, then highlight it. Then look up to the line of boxes just above the message box- see the one that says URL. Click that and it will set the URL you entered as a highlighted link, automatically.
