DeWalt is having a sale, I guess (right after I bought mine!)  Amazon.com has them at about 50% off list, which is really about 25% off what you'd normally pay.  Here are some links with our messing-about.com associate ID in them (if you buy, it helps out the site):

DW 635 3hp Router - 58% off
DW 618 2 1/4hp Router - 50% off
DW618B3 2-1/4 HP 3-Base Router Kit, 60% off

Right now, as of 11/8/2005, Amazon.com is also offering free shipping, so its a pretty good deal.  (Note that these links won't work once these go off sale ... the Amazon pages will change.  I'll probably remove this message at that time, because the routers will be back up to the regular price, which is no deal.)

Frank,
Did you buy one of these?  If so, how do you like it?
Greg.

I had bought a DeWalt 621 2HP plunge router just before this sale started, but paid not too much more.  I like the 621 a lot; very smooth but firm plunging action, and very powerful.  My other router is a venerable PC 690 that I use for my router table.  Since getting the 621, the PC router stays in the router table.
