messing-about.com is a community of amateur and professionals involved in boat building, refurbishment, restoration, or simply just enjoyment … simply messing-about in boats.
There are already a lot of laws that govern people’s behavior on-line. We don’t add too many to that. In fact, we only have One Rule:
Be nice.
Our Forums are the heart of the site, and we encourage you to join in there (registration is separate from the rest of the site). You’ll find an active group of like minded people who avoid the flame-throwing and invective seen elsewhere because, well, we like our One Rule. You’ll find conversations tend to go off on tangents just like they do at a family reunion because, well, we don’t have a rule about staying on topic, posting in the right forum, etc. We are a relaxed bunch here, and many people think its because of the grog.
